It is our great pleasure to invite you to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and to The 1st International Conference on Applied Microbiology (ICAM-VN 2016) on December 7 – 9, 2016, organized by the VNUHCM-University of Science in collaboration with Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB), Center for Bioscience and Biotechnology and Ho Chi Minh City Association of Biology and Biotechnology.

The ICAM-VN 2016 will bring together a diverse range of microbiological activities. The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of the latest basic scientific discoveries with applied emphasis in the field of microbiology. The meeting will also include presentations and discussions to promote international collaboration with special regard to involvement in global microbiological projects.

The Scientific Program includes plenary lectures by distinguished speakers who are leading in applied microbiological research, seven symposia that span all aspects of microbiology with Invited speakers who are world leaders in their fields. There will be 50 talks which are open to all participants.

A reserved meeting for local companies will be organized to discuss issues needed to be developed in Vietnam. The conference will offer an excellent opportunity for interaction between the scientific community and many segments of the microbiological-related industry to provide a platform for exchanging ideas and their applications. The conference will also bring innovative ideas to the attention of the industry.

We look forward to an exciting meeting in December 2016 that promises great scientific debate and enjoyable social interaction. We also hope you will enjoy your visit to the most dynamic city in Vietnam.
